The project coordinator (AUA) participated in the EDS2014 Int. Conference and Exhibition on Desalination for the Environment: Clean Water and Energy, that took place in Limassol, Cyprus, on 11-15 May 2014 (https://www.desline.com/congress/Cyprus2014/home.shtml). In this conference two research works have been presented relevant to the Reverse Osmosis desalination unit.

In WP 3, the installation and experimental investigation of the two-stage ORC and the desalination unit are under progress at the NTUA laboratory (November 2013).

The Work Packages (WP) 1 and 2 that deal with the simulation and optimization of each process (solar field/ORC engine/desalination unit) have been successfully completed (during 2011).
